worth a thousand words.

last night i got an email from a teacher who wanted to use one of my photos in a presentation he was giving to his class. he asked if i could send him the high-res version and wanted to know exactly where i had taken it. of course i sent it, and wished him luck. but it got me wondering what made him want that image in particular. what was it going to add to his presentation? i thought about it more last night and it got me looking through all of the images i've posted online. i'm continually amazed that anyone even reads this blog, never mind keeps up with me on flickr, so imagine my surprise to see how many views some of my photos have there. 600? 500? 400? for real?? wow. i'm not even sure why. sure, i expect that eddie vedder may warrant a few views, but 400 views of my dog? amaze. i guess it's time i get better at posting more recent pics there. today's entry is a photo journal of sorts. some of my fav pics sorted by number of views (mostly because i'm still shocked anyone is even interested in them in the first place).

Hi Cheryl, Kristine here! Hope you don't mind, Telo forwarded a link to your blog to me in case I was interested. I love your blog, it's adorable. As I write this, I am listening to Holly McNarland's cover of In the Air Tonight (my fave by her: Beautiful Blue)and looking at your most popular Flickr photos, haha. Just wanted to say that I LOVE the pic of all the lightbulbs and also the skyline below it. Really, love 'em. (p.s. - - Which photo was it that the teacher wanted to use?). Take care for now.

hey kris! of course i don't mind at all! like i told telo, it's what the blog is for :) beautiful blue is definitely in my top three holly songs. so, so pretty. have you seen her live? she's incredible. aww, thanks so much for the comments on the pics, funny enough the one the teacher was looking for was the lightbulbs...it would seem you both have the same taste!
