metric played two shows in toronto this week. were you at either? against my better judgement (damn this cold!), i went. and god bless emily haines. have never had such a big girl crush. she sings, she plays...but more importantly, she d-a-n-c-e-s. she dances like no other. jumps and kicks and spins...and still manages to sound exactly like she does on her albums. and can we just mention her outfit? sequins and fringe??? a girl deffo after my own heart. if you haven't seen metric live, you must. such a fun, high energy show. some of my pics and videos are below (there are waaay more, but i'm too impatient to wait for them to convert ;) ).
