happy halloween!

just a quick post to wish you all a happy (+ safe!) halloween. i stumbled across these app-o-lanterns last night. how cute and smart are they?! perfect for us apartment/condo dwellers with no steps to display our carved masterpieces. sure there are no yummy pumpkin seeds inside, but apples are pretty delish too...and smell much better than pumpkin guts i might add. might give one a go this afternoon before i head out. are you all celebrating? with costumes? d and i are going as a pair of drunken sailors. the 'drunken' part should be pretty authentic by the end of the night ;)
