opa!
the mister and i were probably two of ten thousand people mulling about danforth on saturday taking in everything we could at the 'taste of the danforth' festival. first of all let me say, i remembered it being busy in years past, but was it really this busy? good lord! i think the key is to just go limp and let yourself be carried away by the crowds. while some of the lines were huge deterrents for me (sadly, no astoria for us!), we did still manage to eat our faces off. roasted corn, souvlaki and funnel cake were all worth the wait. and, if i were to open a booth at the festival, i would deffo make it a funnel cake stand. there was literally one on the whole street...and it was doing itself some good business.

of course, what festival wouldn't be complete without some ghetto games and rides, complete with carnies to run them? could not love it more. and you best believe they just made me more excited to get to the ex this year!

small side note: we're 3/3 on roasted corn at this summer's festivals. here's to hoping with close out the season with a perfect record! yum.
