saving grace.

have you been? it's cute, it's quaint, and it's a bit ridiculous. i would say there are maybe ten tables in this tiny-tiny brunch spot. and people line up. and they wait. we waited. and it was delish. and while i'm aware this blog is quickly becoming a place where i review restaurants (seriously, go to o.noir!), this post isn't exactly about that. the restaurant itself i mean. what fascinates me more is that someone thought to open that restaurant in this teeny tiny little space. and they probs love it. with it's cute little set-up and it's quirky design. it's their labour of love. i wouldn't even be exaggerating when i say i think i could fit more tables in my humble abode. any given day i think about what i do for a living, and how long i think i'll be doing this (answer: not forever), and this mini-resto got me thinking even more. but what could be my saving grace?
(if you do go, have the french toast with caramelized bananas. not that this is a review or anything... ;))
